Why is the neckline only 12"?
The longer the neck line, the greater the chance of it getting caught in the armpit when the dog is at full stride. At 12″, the neck line is long enough to offer latitude of movement to both dogs, but avoids the aforementioned problem.
Is it possible to use a neckline with 2 dogs of different sizes?
Yes, but if the difference in size between the 2 dogs causes any discomfort (e.g. the dog is pulled by the collar or tries to slow down because it's uncomfortable), the use of the neck line is not recommended.
